Padmaja Sarathy, author of our STEM Teaching Strategies for Young Learners (Pre-K and Kindergarten), has been on the road in 2018 promoting her work to promote executive function for young children, and she has several events coming up!
In January, Padmaja was a speaker at the 19th annual conference of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Division of Autism and Developmental Disabilities (DADD) in Florida, where she presented on “Nurturing Executive Function in the Early Years: Designing Environment, Instruction and Adaptations.” Read the blog recap of the event from NPR Inc.
In February, Padmaja presented a workshop at the CEC Special Education Convention and Expo titled, “Activities and Supports to Improve Executive Functions for Young Learners with Special Needs.”
