We’re honored to work with so many wonderful partner organizations at ED311 that are making a big impact in the lives of educators and students.
One of these partners are our friends at Easy Sped Tracker, a main sponsor of our recent Education Law for Principals Conference.
Easy Sped Tracker was founded by Kara Stone, a former special education teacher from Decatur, Texas. Stone recently retired from her role at Young Elementary School, after 25 years of teaching and managing SPED programs, to lead Easy Sped Tracker full-time.
Easy Sped Tracker is an online platform that Stone created to help special education teachers track their students’ progress and simplify the paperwork and reporting required by school districts. Since its founding, Stone has launched Easy Sped Tracker in 40 school districts in Texas, with plans to expand to the whole state.
In a recent article written about her in the Wise County Messenger, Stone talked a little about her ultimate goal. “I’m just trying to make special education better, for everybody,” she said. “I want to help every special ed teacher in Texas.”
