To that end, we are also excited to share with you feedback from superintendents and school personnel from across Texas who have hosted Prof. David Thompson on their school campuses and have found his trainings to be invaluable.

“For the past few years we have invited Dr. David Thompson to our District Level Administrator Summer Institute to present information on Educator Ethics. Dr. Thompson’s accumulation of materials, data and stories have proven to be engaging, relevant and extremely informative. In my 30 years in education, I cannot recall a time where Educator Ethics training was as critical as it is today. Educator Ethic presentations can be tedious to sit through; however, the presentation skills and vast knowledge of Dr. Thompson’s delivery were paramount in how he underlined the core issues with anecdotal stories from his research coupled with the importance of educators staying above the fray and leading with integrity. His passion and knowledge are very evident in his presentation and our administrators garnered greater knowledge and understanding about educator ethics. I would place Dr. Thompson’s training and research in the top one percent of any training I have attended in the past.” – Lloyd Verstuyft, Superintendent, Southwest ISD

“Dr. David Thompson has provided professional development focused on professional ethics to the entire staff of Ector County ISD for the past four years.  The quality of the professional development is excellent and geared to be understood by all employees of the District.  Dr. Thompson works with us each year to determine what we want the focus of his presentation to be and develops his professional ethics staff development program to meet our needs.  He does not use a “canned” presentation, but individualizes it to our needs.  Our staff appreciate his down-to-earth, common sense approach to a highly charged, “front page” topic.” – Thomas Crowe, Superintendent, Ector County ISD

“Our profession has suffered from negative headlines brought about by educators who have destroyed trust with their lapses in ethical behavior. Dr. Thompson’s interactive workshop serves as a reminder of the high bar of ethical behavior each of us should meet. This is highly recommended learning for everyone who works with children.” – Dr. Robin Ryan, Superintendent, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD

“Ethics training with Dr. David Thompson changed the culture in GCISD.  We have open dialogue and training with every employee every year.  GCISD is a better place because of our work with David!” – Ms. Gema Padgett, Executive Director of Human Resources, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD

“Thanks so much for presenting your ethics training on improper relationships to my new teachers here in Hondo. So many young teachers today just don’t realize the rules for privacy and behavior change so drastically when you become an educator.  Thank goodness you’ve found a way to show them potential pitfalls with humor and sincerity!  Any time and expense for new professional development is wasted if teachers don’t first understand the boundaries between themselves and the students they serve. Your training should be the very first delivered to any new staff member.– A’Lann Truelock, Ed. D., Superintendent, Hondo ISD
